cleaning a cotton green panel filter

as the title says ive heard you have to use that oil stuff but ive been told it kills the maf sensor i usually give mine a good blow with an air line to remove all the bugs and stuff ive also heard to soak it for a few hours in hot soapy water then leave to dry for a day or two any ideas folks ??

Use the proper cleaner Green filter cleaner
