| Well im finally back in a DUB!! Been waiting for the right one come up and its paid off Y reg 2001 Golf 1.9 TDi SE 5 door just covered 140k miles Alloys.... Not got many pics just yet but more to follow, Was completely standard but now had set of 6000k HID's in Comments welcome. Plans include Remap, Coilovers...... advice anyone? Thanks! |

| Congrats on the purchase... A MkIV Golf was my third choice after Estate Passats and Polos -- luckily I found my Polo -- but they are superb.
Nice to see an MGZR there too, Trophy Blue. I used to have a modded R25 (which share all the same problems)...

| Cheers mate my first car was a 9N polo 1.2 in blue! haha great little cars but i went from that to the Lupo now felt it was time to grow up abit and get something abit bigger and more sensible |

| looks tidy mate only advice i can offer is make sure its had a full service and a cam belt because its done so many miles |

| Some cotton or fishing wire.... is the best thing to use... then I found using a small amount of nail varnish remover to remove the sticky bit then polish the area... |

| I shall have a go at the weekend found a really good guide warm soapy water hairdryer and dental floss/fishing line then the remover stuff! Cheers mate |

| a good trim tool will also do the job tar and glue remover on the area then polish and wax job done |

| Took them off last night! Nice and easy just took them off with a credit card nice and slow came off really easy tar and glue remover quick wipe over and jobs a good un! Looks much better will get some pics tomorrow after a good wash! |
