| Hello :D Does anyone know of anywhere that a Map can be removed from an ECU? My mate bought his Caddy a year ago (Its a 54 plate iirc), and has plugged it in to be re-mapped. The only problem is, someone has already re-mapped the van, and coded it so that it can't be re-mapped again. Apparently VW are the only people that can write the original map onto the ECU again, but refuse to do it as they're afraid they'll break something! If anyone can shed any light on this or knows what to do next, then please help! Cheers, DubDave  |
