| Afternoon Chaps and Chapettes! Just been handed £100 in Halfords vouchers for a competiton I won at work :D So... I'm gonna service my car tonight. Having a mind blank at the mo but heres what I've got on my list for a thorough service, and I'm getting the stuff tonight. - Oil
- Oil Filter
- Air Filter
- Fuel Filter
- Spark Plugs
- HT Leads
- Brake Fluid
- Power Steering Fluid
- Coolant
Anyone think of anything i'm missing...?  Most of the stuff doesn't need doing, as the previous owner did it before I bought it back in March. I'm kinda doing it for peace of mind as it's the first time I've serviced this car, and it's better to cover everything, so I know it's done, and he hasn't scrimped and saved. Oh and It's a 1996 Auto 2.0 8v Mk3 Golf. Cheers guys! :D |

| Fan belt.... always a good job to replace as they tend to stretch... |

| New washer for the sump plug...Sounds daft bt when i worked for Skoda we always changed the washer. Costs peanuts |

| Good Call! Right, i'm off to Festival park Halfrauds to spend free money :D Shame it wasn't £100 in vouchers for GSF or summit  Oh well, can't moan! Cheers guys!  |

| Got everything on my list above so should be running sweeeeet soon! I love driving a freshly serviced car! Plus, got i got halfords brand oil, I got a free screwdriver set, which was nice! Also saw "salty"? off of here! Black mk3 polo coupe with blue detailing. So was a good trip all in |

I got those... Weird thing to have free with oil -- you'd expect a free filter or something!?  |
