I'm still negotiating with work on this.

I'm supposed to work friday night finishing 3am sat, and I leave the week after so I cant ring in sick and risk the redundancy :S

i'll be in norwich, and convoying up with dubgeneration i think...should try and camp near tho i rate.

Gary and I will be joining the Friday Morning Convoy and we'll be at Edition all weekend.

Still don't know how many cars we'll be bringing, sorry. We're spoiled for choice!

early start so everyone can get down there and set up then relax and go shopping if need be....

plus they are setting the campsite up differently this year... its not a free for all..

so when you guys arrive you need to park and leave enough space for 20 cars and tents... haha

I really dont fancy 8am start! I'd get bored waiting round! I know it was mentioned yesterday about getting a big convoy together with Peaks, is that goin ahead or has nothing else been said?

the time was changed yesterday to 10am as we found out the gates don't open until 12... Edition 38 Convoy Thread 943826

I think the "big" convoy was mentioned for further into the future??

The only problem with this one is that we will be picking people up along the way south (tamworth) and so on... and if we travel east to join up with PVC for this one then quite a fair few will have to travel further than they originally need too... could get a little messy...

M6, M1 - 107 miles
A50, M1 - 105 miles

Not much in it from stoke..

But with a few members coming from Stafford, Tamworth and maybe Cannock, it will add another 10-20 miles onto there times if we head down the A50??

Toll Road is there to miss the car park, but the M1 won't be much better.. saying that never had any issues around that time on the motorways as its not rush hour...

End of the day your driving, so its down to you which way you go? but this year at edition to obtain club camping you arrive as a club as this is how they are setting space out..

Well if the edition crew set up camping like they say they are then it might be a struggle to hold space for everyone if only a few cars are driving down together? Unless people are camping with others? scratch

That's easy... It's simple to save space for a few cars but if 5 or so arrive later then saving space will be difficult with only a few cars as editions rules are "if you want to camp as a group then arrive as a group" just makes things hard for those arriving on the Saturday too as we might not have enough cars to save space for them?

m6 stafford services nice big car park easy to get to and perfect start point and and it ould be keepin with my tradition of any show which ive had to head south but i aint fused will go anywhere and can arrange at meet tomorra

As if I was one of the members in the south I wouldntwant to travel north first before travelling back south for a show.. Plus talk of a rolling pick up for the southerners was talked about in the staffsvw convoy

Either way I'm going to have to travel north first. Stafford services half a mile from my house but I can only get onto the staff car park, so once I've driven to Newcastle, and then to Stafford Services I could have driven to Longton twice.
Also I'm not paying to drive on a road that should be free. So the M1 route gets my vote

To be honest I don't want to be heading north just to travel back south.
If people want to meet me and Abbie just off either junction 14 or 13 of the M6 then that'll be great. Otherwise we'll make our own way there.

Abbie and I will be on the pub car park by junction 14 at about 10.30 am (Next to Stafford Audi)
We'll be heading down the M6, M1 (avoiding the toll)
