Apparently its illegal to drive with snow on your roof. £60 fine + 3 points!
Well I saw a cop car with snow on his roof. One rule for one eh?

seen a few people on a bout this on ed38
a few have said they can pull you over and warn you but think the 3 points and fine isnt true

yeah they wont fine you as you could be driving and it could be snowing at the time i think its just excessive snow so it dosnt blow off blocking the view of other road users! i know your suppost to clear all windows number plates and lights

i saw on the news they got a full on competition in some places like newcastle.. who can drive with the most amount on there roof... it just gives the police summat do

i saw a police car doin 30 down the 500 the other night... lights flashing on and off sirens blaring.. it was funny really.
i was thinking, all the hostages will be dead before he's even got to the area code.

as wrighty said, you must ensure your lights and all windows are clear along with your plates, but if you are driving with excessive snow on the car then it just gives them a good reason to pull you over and find something else to get you for...

i just brush the car off with a dust pan brush takes two minutes to do and saves grief from the coppers
