well basically, had a flat tyre today, grabbed the space saver and stuck it on the front, never give it a second thought about the tyre difference..

drove to wolstanton and back to stoke and had a bang noise on the 500 (bit like another tyre bursting) was doin 50 so i pulled over and checked by the old car auctions, tyre looks fine.. when i got home i put on one of my old GT steels... then it dawned on me, about the height difference in the two (space saver com[pared to steel)

so is there any chance i couldve damaged summat inside.... transmission or summat.. cause the sapce saver will be tryin run faster to keep up with the steel...

phoned a lad i know at a garage and he doesnt think it would.. but im not so sure..

what ya all think?

Doubt its done any damage but you should always put the space saver on the rear.
