Hi! i met a few of you guys at edition 38 but havent had access to a pc but finally i can join the forum :D i already have the sticker.

i drive a mk2 golf gti called archie who i adore but hes damaged right now after being targeted by chavs Sad

haha hes not my fella, i actually have a girlfriend. but yeah i was with a lad with long hair. i heard you guys meet regular near the brittania stadium? i might be mistaken but i would love to come along. the cars looking a little rough after the chavs got at it though.

hi, they have taken the badges and keyed it then done so much damage inside! i cant even plug in a new stereo because they have yanked the wires so hard they dont work now Sad

they broke part of the dash smashed 2 windows etc etc. i have some replacement parts i was going to fit today but the car wouldnt turn over so i fixed that instead all by myself :D il fit parts tomorrow if i have time.

alot of effort but i love the car too much! i even cried when i saw what they did! i need to look into a respray now Sad

I remember you now.... Our next meet is Sunday 30th Jan at 2pm at the Gables Pub on Trentham Road in Blurton... its just up the road from the brittania...

As if they did that to your motor hope you got the coppers involved and they get punished to the full extent of the law! You can't have anything nice these days it's shocking

the police did somethin the first time but second time even though i was crying they just took fingerprints then i didnt hear back. im gettin there slowly. need the rear badge, been up the scrap yards today but they have golfs but no badges Sad

gutted! if anyone is sellin one be sure to send them my way would really appreciate it. just the rear vw badge they left the gti one thank god!

I will have a search for you but i am sure all the old parts i replaced on my white 16v went onto the red 8v. If i find anything i will let you know.

Premier used to be a VW dealer in leek but they still do parts and service work.

Speak to Neil (biglad) as he does all the parts there and knows his stuff.

might need an idle controll valve for an 8v mk 2 gti if u have one of those lying around copie? and im having heater issues. i turn it on and it just screams at me like a buzzing noise :S i can deal with being cold but my girlfriend is refusing to go anywhere in my car if its cold and her drivings scary!!! she drove her car into the central reservation of the m6 when it was empty!!!! help!

hate to say it but try volksmine they mite have a badge. or fleebay. i had one i threw away a while ago.

palmer mite be able sort u out an idle stab valve.

the buzzin noise sounds like it mite be the bearing for the fan motor. can sometimes be sorted by removing the cover on the slam panel and dripping a tiny bit of oil down round the sides of the fan to stop the bearing squeeling.
