havent had a sterio since ive had the new car, my CD player wont turn on when plugged in to this car, the wiring looks ok to the eye and ive changed the fuse so any help with what it could be

tried the headunit in motormania and it works in there... so theres summat wrong inside..

check the conector block might be a bit dodgy or do you need an adaptor??

i had a similar prob when i had the Vento, the previous owner decided it was a good idea to use the speedo feed for the stereo, either had the speedo or radio, never both. Best idea is to get a manual for your car or just the wiring diagrams and check everythings how it should be, oh and make sure your ISO lead is wired correctly, sounds stupid but they can be wired incorrect from new, mrs' old man had to re-wire his ISO lead
