| Joined up a while back but haven't really been on here much. The main reason being i had a golf mk3 tdi and there wasn't a lot going on with it.
That's now been sold to a friend of mine and from the funds aquired i have bought both me and my other half (lil_miss_vw) a project car each, hers being a white mk3 polo coupe 1.3 and mine being a helios blue mk2 golf 1.8 tour.
I'll leave all the yakking about the polo to herself but we all know my golf is a lot more interesting.  So....... She's a 1.8 tour in helios blue as i already said and is going to need a fair bit of work to get her looking nice. Also a new clutch, wishbone and exhaust manifold are in order before i even think about putting her in for an MOT, so she'll probably be on the road for sometime around mid-january. Looks wise i'm getting a lot of inspiration from this:  I'm going to leave it at that for now and post up a link to the build thread when i've set one up. Catch y'all later! |

Sure is. The chrome bumpers may prove a stumbling block as good condition ones are like rocking horse poop. But i heard a whisper that euro just off the A500 do an aftermarket version? |

| That MK2 is lovely, I used to know the guy that owned it, he had 'the Pea' a Lupo before, which had a rusted bonnet |
