2 issues

1st
When locking the car thhe LED light on the door normally flashes to say my alarm is set and thhe car is locked up...

But now it flashes a few times then stays on constant!

2nd
The alarm siren has some how stopped working? The alarm will go off as in the lights flash but no sound at all...


Last week I replaced the battery as it was done... But I'm begining to think something else has happened.. As be fore I went away I tested the alarm and it worked.. Then when I came back the battery was dead...


Anyone have any ideas?

They could both be related. I know there was issues with mk5 golf alarm leds etc and there was a software upgrade.

The light stays on if one of the monitored circuits. I could put my vcds on it to see if there is any fault codes regarding to the alarm.
