One of my friends recently bought an 11 plate corsa VXR. TBH i've never really been a fan of Vauxhalls but when she handed me the keys that was a different matter.

The VXR's 033eae55

It was suprisingly big inside and the heated recaros are a must. The only thing that i didn't like was the shift light on the rev counter.

you sure??? the VXR has 189bhp and weighs less half of that of the TDI engine alone!

Performance wise the VXR would outstrip most motors with less than 180bhp due to the weight and torque it has in its favour....
plus it has an overboost which spins the turbo faster when that extra little bit of power is needed...

sounds like the VXR didn't even try then....

VXR
0-60 - 6.6 secs
140mph top speed
230 NM of torque
1200kg

Passat
0-60 - 9.6 secs
129mp top speed
184 NM of torque
??kg but a lot heavier than the corsa
