Just a little post to see what you guys think. I'm going to see a mk1 jetta tomorrow. It's done 80,000 miles and is completely standard. I'm thinking 13" alloys, on it's arse and then just OEM+ and basically clean it up alot.

I nearly had one of these.... tidy looking motor... I wouldn't rat it though....

Nah definately wouldn't rat it. I think rat only looks good on campers. Some beetles look ok but everything else just seems a little bit wrong. Definately just gonna go low and clean. Already began looking for a couple of things to throw on it.

Hopefully have a good look round it for rust and if it's fairly rot free it'll be mine!

I bet I get OCD and start tearing it apart to clean it

looks like a clean motor ,some nice subtle mods and your on to a winner .

I want that car more than anything I've ever wanted.
