anyone know where i can rent/borrow one?...

Due a trip to Germany in a month or two to pick up a car to use as a base for a new project and need a means of transporting it back. The only other alternative is to fly out and drive it back, but im now sure how id go about driving on UK roads in a German registered car?

Anyone wiser?

There is a place in congleton that rents trailers, but unsure if you can go germany with it.

I'm sure driving a car back is possible. Have a look at the Practical Performance Car website, I'm sure there was a feature on them bringing back an old Mk1 Transit.

I know people who've bought cars back but it was a few years ago and I'm not sure their methods were entirely 'legit'

I know the guys at hanford well, dont think they rent out car trailers now as the last one got nicked......
