| Wrighty told me before how to do this but i cant for the life of me remember how or what he said.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated |

| first mate get your self a pack of cheap tooth brushes and a small soft brush i use auto glym engine and machine clean as its a non agressive de-greaser spray the area that needs cleaning and scrub away with the soft or hard brush then rince with plenty of cold water always make sure you run the engine a few times to make sure you havnt drownt the poor thing lol |

| jet wash... that how I used to detail the MINI... stand back and power wash the bay... |

| See the MK3 had water issues due to a dodgy dizzy and plug leads.
As long as the electrics are covered up and the air filter should be ok jet washing on a low pressure. |

| i use g101 degreaser and alu bright and the manifolds / head and block and a diesel steam cleaner , looks like new every time |

| so if i was gonna let wash my bay. If i just cover up most of the electrics and the air filter it should be ok just just well.. Jet. |

Got to be so careful with the jet wash as its so easy to blast off electrical connectors etc and he water WILL get everyware and into eveything leaving the car imobile as you wont be able to start it. |

| think ill give it a blast! Lol ill hose off with just a hose, get some degreaser and shampoo in there and give it a scrubbing. At least it'll look fresher. Sorry for the pun. Haha |

| thats why i use a steam cleaner it all evaporates,
or at least get you engine hot before you do it, |
