The Camping field is even bigger then last year so lots of space and ofcourse the party tent with live bands is also 50% bigger, more room to party and go grazy. Wink

This was a right good weekend. We went for the first time this year, and packed for cold weekend. Boy were we wrong!

Apparently next year VW Fest and Tatton are on the same weekend. Shame really as I haven't been to my 'local' show yet, but given the choice, I will be going camping. It's way more fun.

We went to the beer tent, already three sheets to the wind, and managed to get our faces painted. It seemed a good idea at the time, but I don't think wondering about in the morning with a toilet roll under my arm, it was truly appreciated by other people

I much prefer camping shows, and overall camping shows which include Air-cooled.... Personally I think they are more welcoming, less people with loud music until early am hours and less scene....

I love the older stuff. We went to a Hot Rod show near Sheffield in September. Boy was that a good one. Small but perfectly formed, if you get me.

Planning on doing more of a mix next year, trying to still get the VW vibe but as you say in a more chilled way.
