| Havin trouble with my mk4, I lowered it and the back wheels catch slightly on the arch. Was thinking of getting camber shims to tuck the tops in. Any suggestions of how much and positive or negative? Thanks ppl |

| not too much or you will be remplacing tyres often... normally around 1.5-2 degrees is enough... most people have the arches pulled saves any hassle too as with being the rear tyres if any police are following you they will always see the bald edge... |

iirc MK4's come from the factory with around .5 deg of camber. I'm pretty sure if you're going more than 1 deg on the rear you need to get caliper shims too, so that your breaks are aligned properly. Have you thought about smaller tyres? |

| tbh... if he's already running 215/35/18 on an 8j I'd stick at that... as 205's or 195's you wouldn't really have any rubber to stretch.. unless you went with a bigger profile as a 40 or 45... then you right back where you started...
PSI will be your best bet... might be worth a run up and talking with them so they can see the car... |
