| If you find Flux and HIC cheap then try Brentacre and Chris Knott also. They all use Highway Insurance but like to battle with eachother. I'm with Chris Knott as they beat Brentacre by 30 who beat Flux by the same EDIT forgot to say on a modified policy with everything declared.. Thats when the "usual" companies fall flat on their face.

| Does anyone know why insurance has gone up this year? My renewal quote was like £100 more expensive! Even though ive got 4 years no claims this time! I can kind of see why people dont pay insurance and just chance it. |

| the thing with insurance is it might seem expensive and its always good if you never claim but is it ever worth the risk to run without insurance i defo think not the average amount people with insurance pay is 30-40 pounds extra per year to cover the cost of people without insurance im glad ive got it because if i smash my car up im coverd |

| Thats because you take insurance out for 12 monts.. its a contract and to break the contract you have to pay whats owed. its like a mobile phone contract. |

| Adrian Flux Axa Insurance UK plc - Excess £450 - £432.94 HCI - Excess £350 - £488.85 Aviva - Excess £350 - £502.79 I've been with Esure for a few years. I'm 54 with full no claims discount and clean license and I paid £320 last year with protected no claims discount and £250 excess. This year they want 319.24 for the same cover. Who do you think I'm sticking with? |

This year they want 319.24 for the same cover. Who do you think I'm sticking with? you should ring a few more matey, A mate at work is 50 and owns the new Focus RS and he pays a little less that what you got quoted on your golf... might be worth a few more calls just incase... I'll try and see who he's insured with... |
