| Had anybody used clay on their car? If so how easy is it to do as I want to do mine now the weather is getting nicer... |

| all the time.... I never wax it without claying first... simple.. just keep the body nice and wet while doing it.. |

| yeah a good place to start is the megs quik clay kit has everything in it you need mate i clay mine a couple of times a year but remember wash clay wash polish wax always in that order dude |

| clay is clay.... its all the same stuff... if you want a cheaper substitute then blutac... it works and ive tested it... |

| I have used the Chemical Guys Clay Block and Lube kit, thats good, just dont use it on a Shiteron Paxo (Palmer) it wrecks the bloody block!! Ive now resorted to Clean Your Car.co.uk Fine Poly Clay. Does work a treat! |

| I use the meguires kit...good bit of kit, now the boras paint is like glass Defo use the method wrighty says And have a hot bath after to sooth your muscles |

| lol i clayed the beetle today first time since last summer and used a whole clay bar as there was that much tar in the front and sides of the car came up a treat aswell i washed it left the car wet coverd the ares i was claying with detailing spray then rinced them off after then when i finished washd the whole car quick again then dryed gave it a polish then it started to rain so didnt have time for wax bit gutted but it look well after |

| I was quite shocked at how easy it was to do. I used plenty of megs quick detailer while the paintwork was wet. |
