Hey everyone!!!
Seeing as the Mk1 has been off the road for three years now i've decided that i needed to do something with my daily lol (think i was having modified vag withdrawal symptoms!)
And with it coming up to GTi international at the time (and my forum had its own club stand) i decided it had to be done so the mods began!
Its not the tidiest car in the world, there's dents etc everywhere and stonechips galore so decided i wanted to subtley rat look it, but then decided it wasnt battered enough to justify doing that so just did a few small bits.

firstly i bought some cheapo coilovers off ebay for £156 which i was expecting to be really REALLY **** but to be fair, the quality isnt too bad at all, the ride isnt all crashy and back breaking and actually quite comfortable, but obviously avoiding potholes is a must!
got them fitted one saturday afternoon and decided to try on the golf's old p-slots just to see what they looked like on and i was actually quite impressed that it doesnt look too rubbish!!
It was actually lower than this at the back but i had to wind the coilies up a bit as we couldnt get it off the driveway
yeh the front camber was totally out but we manage to get that sorted with a quick borrow of a mates camber gauges lol
then came the idea for Inters...... chalkboard bonnet!!
bought a 2nd hand bonnet from queensferry dismantlers for £20 and proceeded to get it home and begin the painting!!
rubbed it all down (thats my cat Bobby hiding behind there)
little to me disbelief we discovered magenta chalkboard paint
on the pink went and then i proceeded to spend 1 1/3 hors masking up the squares....
all done
and on went the black
finit-o!!
put the bonnet on and headed to Inters via my mum n dad's house so my sister could do me some lovely artwork
and yeh! here's some pics from Inters once all the girlies from VolksGirls had made their contribution
and just thought i'd share our Golf+ piccy with u guys n girlz ...
taken the bonnet off now as it was going to rain and didnt wanna spoil the drawings lol
