| sorry not entirely sure where to put this.... this being me cant be arsed to properly look or there not actuallt being a place for this topic... but anyway im after a place to get a good set of metal pressed number plates around stoke as i dont really fancy doing it over the net there was a place in tunstall that did them but has now closed so any suggestions?? and if someone says halfrauds you may get a slap |

| Always got mine online...cheaper and easier without the hasstle of having to show your documents etc. |

| got mine done by Dubmeister, they had a stall at ultimate dubs, pressed plates there and then, no papers needed and road legal. think i paid around £30? |

| ahh every website iv been on they ask you for your documents, just seems a bit too much of a fafto do it that way...
what sites did you use where you didnt have to show anything then? |

| Chances are cheap pressed plates wont be legal, best carry a set of original plates with you, then use the excuse "sorry officer, been to a show of recent and forgot all about them, ill change them immediately, i have the standard plates in the boot". Should be fine then |

| yeah i use germanplates.com and craigs plates ive been pulled a few times for plates and just played the idiot im sorry officer i didnt know or ive been to a show and ill change them stright away |

| I've been pulled twice for German plates, 3 times for shortened plates, and once for not running a plate.. never been fined as always made an excuse...
it all depends on how you are when your pulled, who pulls you, and the area... |
