| Was a cracking day today and im off work so i got up crack of dawn and got all my cleaning gear out and gave the girl a good vac/polish really finding it hard to mod this car as i like the way it looks out the box, am also on briskoda and theres very little mods people do to the exterior of these from what i can see... at the moment its got quickshift xeon lights A4 DRL's torx grooved disc's and just waiting on do a deal on a dv with rick before i get her mapped and RARB. Would love some decent quality picture put only have my phone at hand sorry!! |

| Ride on the AP's was not so good on the front but the back was fine. Was a home brew front mount with a universal intercooler of ebay and a set of ABD golf mk4 pipes. Was standard apard from intercooler and exhaust. My old black one was 246bhp wihout a great load of mods. If you want a good ride go for KW but they are not cheap. Had them on my old black one and it was lowe than the silver one. I am running FK AK streets at the moment on my Passat and they are very good for the money. |

| Christ youve gone the whole hog on the octavia's topman gave me sone food for thought id love some budget coilovers for the vrs but they just dont cater for them ive heard people fitting TT coils but the ride goes to pot cause of the extra weight plus i have my little lad in with me so dont want a deathtrap! |

| The problem is you have bora/golf mk4 rear end with Audi TT/ R32 front end so not easy to get coilovers for. Best kit to go for would be the Weitec kit as same as the KW just shock bodies are not stainless but still use Koni shocks.
Any questions about bits just let me know as already mostly had the same problems etc. |

| Yea brill, love what youve done with them i personally think there very difficult to style as it caters a more sporty/racer look which is not really "scene" amongst vag owners but i love them |

| Couple of good free audio mods for the octy.
Remove the front speakers and where the foam membrane is behind the rear speaker cut it out as it gives you a lot more bass and better sound.
One problem you may find if you have the seat back reclined a bit is the tweeters in the front of the rear doors are just behind you and are a bit ****. Go to the rear speakers in the parcel shelf side pods and there is two connectors. One is for the speaker in and the other is the output to the tweeter so you can disconnect them without taking anything apart just to see if it sounds better. |
