yeah if mine goes down ill be amazed but they have been banging on about how young drivers will feel the pinch more like under 25's so makes no odds to me and toni lol

Well mine went down by 35p this year. Last year I paid £320 with protected no claims and one named driver with Esure and this year I paid £319.65. I just wondering what to spend the 35p on? Wink

my first car was a fiesta zetec 1.25 16v that cost neally 3k to insure the car was worth 4k max id love a mk5 gti or r32 some day but the road tax and insurance is a killer

Just redone the Leon and thats gone up by £30 to £400 for the wife and me.....but them we do get 150 Club card points every month so it works out about £350 FC

The way I see this though, Insurance has been based on risk, and they recon its been sexist based on risk... what about the fact older drivers pay less than younger drivers. Therefore its now ageist because older drivers pay less than younger.

I must say that after 21 years of driving with no accidents and a clean licence i consider myself as a low risk. I really do pay so much attention to my driving even though it like second nature.
I dont like the fact that i have to pay for the 17 year old cocks that think just cos they passed the test it makes them Jenson Button and it gives them the right to drive their crappy little cars with a big bore and DIY tints and 9/10th everywhere.
Calm down young people and you might live to drive in your old days when you can the wrong way up the M6 in the dark with no lights, drive up one way streets the wrong way and ploish your Rover 45 every Sunday......lol
